Best Doctor I have had regardless of specialty. If all Drs were this personable, professional, and engaging, visiting the doctor would be something to look forward to. More specifically, Dr Brenner has restored my vision and taken the time to hear my concerns and address each in a comfortable and unrushed environment. Highly recommend his practice to anyone in need.

I was referred to Boston Vision by my regular optometrist. During the consultation, Dr. Brenner made me feel very informed and at ease about the procedure. I had an eye exam and watched an informational video about LASIK and PRK. Appointments for the surgery were available very quickly after the initial consultation. The whole process felt very streamlined and professional. The day of the surgery I had another brief eye exam and was given the opportunity to ask any more questions I may have had. I was given Xanax and snacks while I waited for it to kick in. The procedure was under 15 minutes long. I had to stare at a green flashing light while my eyes were held open. The first laser felt like pressure, and the second laser was a bit loud. Then I was sent to another room where Dr. Bickford looked at my eyes again, and then I was sent home with eye drops, sunglasses, and an eye shield. My eyes felt dry and sore the first day, but after sleeping I was able to function normally the next day. Eye drops help with the dryness. I see some halos around bright lights as well, but otherwise feel fine.

You can tell Boston Vision is well seasoned in Lasik procedures. All the staff members are very professional and efficient while being personable and giving time for questions. The procedure itself went quite fast. I will say when the pre-op video says, you may experience pressure in the beginning of the procedure, it really should have said, you will experience very strong pressure on your eyeball. It felt like my eyeball was about to pop. But knowing that the procedure is super short helped to keep me calm. I am in the midst of follow up appointments now. It seems there is slight inflammation in one eye. I appreciate their attentiveness beyond the initial procedure with follow through until healing.
