I was experiencing very sharp lower back pain which I can usually treat via chiropractic care. This time, I wasn't getting any relief after 3 adjustments so I thought I should see a spine specialist. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. Dr. Zhang took x-rays then showed and discussed them with me. The pain was due to issues in my L5 / S1 area of my spine, but he said it was nothing serious and could be treated with steroids. I had several questions along the way, and he listened and answered they thoroughly. After following his treatment plan, the pain is gone. I think I'll go back and discuss neck pain that I'm experiencing to see if he can treat that too. Read review

My primary care doc recommended Spine Texas for an issue I'd been dealing with. Making an appointment was really easy, the staff was friendly and helpful during that phase. The staff was very welcoming at the office. Meeting Dr. Zhang, I felt comfortable. He took the time to go over all my symptoms, treatments that worked and what I hoped to accomplish in the long run. I never felt rushed (like some doctors can make you feel). We went over my x-rays and showed me a mockup spine that showed what he was talking about. From the beginning to the end it was a very comfortable visit! I noted on the chart where pain was and when Dr Zhang came in he immediately made me feel at ease! After a brief casual chat he proceeded to examine the pain areas and then went over my MRI in through detail. I was able to ask as many questions and never felt rushed to end the visit. I was very impressed with the final outcome and would recommend him and his staff in a heartbeat! I am a prior patient of Spine Team Texas in Southlake (12 years ago). I was able to get in sooner by scheduling at the Bedford office with Dr. Zhang. Although the Bedford location is in a much older building and not as nice as the Southlake location, the care I received was exceptional. From Dr. Zhang, his nurse, and the administrative personnel Rachel, I was very impressed and felt like they truly cared about me and the pain I was experiencing. I like Dr. Zang he listens and responds quickly with a plan to help relieve pain from my pinched nerve, but due to to Coronavirus I am unable to go in the office and had to use the virtual visit, which was pretty easy. Dr. Zhang is one who invites the patient to ask questions several times in the intake/first visit process. He appears to be a keen listener who allowed me to ask questions, as well as clarify any statement I did not fully understand. I've had a bout of high back and leg pain, going on seven days. I met Dr. Zhang today, and he was very sensitive about my high pain during the visit. He was quite thorough checking all areas of possible trouble. In the end, my pain affects several points in my right leg and right waist and he didn't have enough information for a definite diagnosis, so he's sending me for an MRI. Read review
