Dr Miller has been super great since my first visit. I got an updated MRI n my lower back. We came up with a plan of action which included a daily prescription for chronic pain - helped 60-70% of the time which was a HUGE improvement. I then opted for epidural shots - bilateral in my L5. The surgery center staff was great - procedure worked almost immediately on giving me relief. Follow up appts have been set to see other specialists as part of my original action plan. Today Dr. Miller performed an Ablation from my L3-L5. I just want to say, I love my spine doctor. He actually listens to you and figure out the different possibilities of issues with you. Ive seen doctors that when you complain about your back, they treat you as if you only want narcotics and tell you to take Tylenol or Aleve. Doctor Miller listens and try different meds along with physical therapy. He saw that I was truly in pain and told me about a procedure and the pros and cons. I had my procedure yesterday and even after the anesthetic wore off my pain level was about a 5 but Im sure that was the injection site. I woke up today at a 2.5-3. It is now 12:30pm and its barely a 1. Im looking forward to be able to move without pain, stand up straight and even cook without having to sit and take breaks every 10-15 mins. Came to Dr Miller for the 2nd time in a year after the first steroid injections in 2021. I'm am getting treated for the same issue as last year, pain in lower back shooting down right leg. By the way I have already gone through 3 lower spine surgeries by other surgeons.Dr Miller has been patient in listening to me and coming up with a treatment plan both last year and this year. This was my first experience with TeleMedicine; I was please. The hardest part was entering the URL, but got it correct on the first try. The staff helped me with set up which took only a couple of minutes, then I was connected with Dr. Miller. The Doctor had reviewed my prior visits and this tele-visit went smoothly. I had to wait an hour before seeing the doctor
The visit itself was great. Dr. Miller spent time to explain everything and I feel it was very thorough. However, it's been over a week and my notes have still not been sent over to the Physical Therapy clinic for treatment.

Dr. Miller listens, answers questions, explains thoroughly what is going on with your situation, details the next step, gives you choices if there are any and takes the time needed for his patients. I've been seeing him almost 5 years, followed him from Southlake to Allen because I trust him and believe in him. Dr. Miller hit the nail on the head immediately; after my xrays and tests. I had quite severe (at time) sciatica issues with numbness in my lower left back and numbness in my left leg. Dr. Miller suggested injections for which I agreed. I took about four days for the pain to gradually go down to a level 2 and it's been about 2 weeks now and absolutely no pain.
