There is so much I want to say about Dr. Garcia but there are not enough characters remaining so I'll be brief and hopefully helpful to others. You can trust this Doctor to be caring, he doesn't mess around, but he is so personable, I was never rushed, and WOW - does he know this field of study. After reviewing my concerns and past experiences, he knew exactly which avenue to take next, and what avenue would be a waste of my time. Honestly, this did not feel like a typical doctor's visit. So down to earth, but professionalism was never in question. I don't know many people who like going to doctors, I really only go for maintenance and absolute need-to's. This was one of those need-to's but it's really given me hope that if anyone can find a solution for me, Dr. Garcia will without going through the typical unnecessary hoops before getting to the whole point in going...getting better. On my first visit to Spine Team I met with Dr. Garcia, who took the time to explain in detail what the x-rays revealed and how everything in the area worked together and what is causing the pain. He did not push me toward any invasive treatments, but recommended some specialized therapy to see if improvements resulted. I did not feel rushed in our conversation, which is important to me. Dr Garcia has been working with me to try and resolve my continued back issues. After surgery on my L3 and L4 by different doctor, he has been working on L5 S1 as well ad compressed disk in this area. Taking medication, Gabapentin, to try and manage the pain. Minimal success but I do not want Surgery if possible. Dr. Garcia is a good communicator.

Since I haven't been to see Dr. Garcia in a couple of years, I was give a stack of papers - maybe 10 to 15, to complete before I could go back to see him. These required me to remember meds info, past surgeries, and other data that I could have provided more effectively from home. I wondered why this paperwork wasn't emailed to me, or provided somewhere from the website. It was too much to fill out while sitting in a reception area. Just some feedback. The practice and Dr. Garcia are the best, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Dr. Garcia is a consummate professional. His staff is friendly and competent. The only reason I didn't give all five stars was because I had specifically understood that my injection was going to be divided into two sites and I had to reconfirm that on the day of my procedure. I am not sure why the discrepancy occurred but it was quickly corrected. I am just glad I was listening and that their procedures are repeated so the patient picks up on things like this. Read review
