For so long I felt like no one would listen to me and help me with my back issue. I was in tears multiple times a day due to the pain and the struggle I went through even just trying to do normal easy things that I took for granted. Dr. Patel performed a minimally invasive Laminectomy on my L1 and L2. The recovery from this surgery was far easier than similar surgeries on my L3, and L4 as well as my L5 and S1. He carefully explained the procedure prior to the surgery. Post op has gone extremely well which has been a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this skilled surgeon. Read review

If you need a great surgeon, Dr. Patel is your guy. I was really hesitant to do back surgery, even though I was in immense pain from a herniated disc sitting on a nerve, causing numbness down my leg. Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing! I had an L4/L5 herniated disc and been in extreme pain and numbness in my left leg for 3 months straight. I literally could not walk more than 10 feet or stand longer than 30 seconds straight before I had to sit down because the pain became so unbearable. So my wife and I met with Dr. Patel for surgery consultation. He immediately put our minds at ease. This young man has a ton of skill and experience. Also, he explained everything involved thoroughly and answered all of our questions clearly and with patience and honesty. The sense of comfort I had when talking with him really put my mind at ease. Its now been over two weeks since I had the microdiscectomy, and I feel marvelous!. I have no more pain and no more numbness. After 3 months, it feels great to be pain free. I say this with utmost sincerity, if you ever need such surgery (heaven forbid), I highly recommend Dr. Patel. You will not regret it.... THANK YOU DR. PATEL!!! Read review

On 12/07/21 Dr.Patel performed ALIF surgery to relieve many years of back pain. My last visit to Spine Team Texas on 4/21/22 was for my final session of physical therapy. This was the second surgery with Dr. Patel, the first being a cervical fusion on 7/06/21. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Patel and the staff at Spine Team Texas for anyone needing relief from neck or back pain. Every step was explained in detail and the recovery went as planned. Because of the surgery my overall health has improved due to exercise and the ability to walk 3 miles a day which was impossible before treatment. From my first visit at STT, the receptionist Kim, through my back surgery with Dr. Patel, the service was exceptional. All my question were answered or escalated to the appropriate professional for answers. Every level of service was by far the best medical care I have ever received. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Patel and the staff at Spine Team. Dr. Patel made sure all the necessary tests were done (injections, CT scans, MRI), before recommending surgery. When the decision was finally made that surgery was needed, June 2019, he explained everything clearly and listened to all my questions and concerns. After surgery all of my post-op appointments, including my first PT appointment were already set up for me, which gave me one less thing I needed to worry about. During my recovery his staff was very helpful with answering questions I had about symptoms I was having and returned calls quickly. The PT staff are also great. They listen to how you're feeling and adjust your therapy accordingly. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and everyone at Spine Team if you are having any back/spine issues. Read review
I had a low back problem with a pinched nerve - three years I suffered intolerable pain - much of this because I was hesitant to pursue a surgical fix - Dr Patel was patient to exhaust all options before we pursued a successful surgery. I've had no pain for the past year - none at all. Read review

When I first arrived at Spine Team Alliance I was unable to stand, walk or sit. My right side was in excruciating pain 24x7. Dr. Patel was in depth on his questions about my symptoms, background and current frightening concerns. Before my surgery I asked Dr. Patel why he was in Orthopedic Surgery? He said his choice was because surgery is extensive, comprehensive and you have to have expertise. Although we were well satisfied with Dr. Patel's examination, diagnosis and treatment plan, We would like to have had a little additional time to discuss the cause of the spinal cyst, prognosis if "popped" and what we should expect if left untreated. We looked forward to having Dr. Reeves perform the prescribed procedure to relieve Lora's pain. I arrived in a great deal of pain and I left in a great deal of pain. I had to wait 4 days to get spinal injections because I had been taking baby aspirin. That was a long 4 days. The spinal injections gave me immediate relief. Read review

Dr. Patel is Amazing! I suffered from a 10mm herniation in my L4, L5-SI that caused me to have the worst pain in my life due to the herniation I had sciatica pain in both of my legs. I am a 28 year old young woman who Lived with the pain 24/7 nothing gave me relief I was at the point where I was physically and mentally drained from all of the pain I was unable to walk and due to the pain I would walk with a crooked back and with a major limp. I was truly blessed to have such a great Doctor to do my surgery and giving me the ability to walk once again, Dr. Patel you have truly changed my life and forever I will always be grateful.
