My husband has struggled with lower back pain for years. He has visited multiple doctors and tried several procedures and medications. Dr. Tijimes listened to our concerns and thoroughly evaluated him. After trying a couple things that didnt work, he recommended the Intracept procedure. Its approximately 5 weeks post procedure, his pain has been remarkably improved. He has been able to actively participate in life more fully with little or no pain. I had been a patient at Spine Team Southlake many years ago but decided to seek help from Dr. Tijmes since it was closer to home. I am glad I did. He was understanding and explained some things I didnt think to ask. The rest of the staff were great too. If an injection is indicated to relieve your pain, do it and dont be scared. Read review

This was the best medical experience I have ever had. They were exceptional from the time I called to make an appointment to me walking out of the office. All the staff were friendly, helpful, made you comfortable and were heartfelt . They didn't act like one were just one of the many passing through. Dr. Tijmes was the same. He explained everything and took the time to make sure I understood and knew he would do what he could to make sure I was pain free. The receptionist closed the appointment with helpful information on PT locations and scheduling the next appointment. I wish I could find a primary care doctor with all these same attributes. I visited with Dr. Tijmes about my neck and back and sits bones problems. He explained everything to me showing me examples of where and why I was having these particular problems and ways of treating them. He suggested starting off with physical therapy before doing anything else as this might help. So I am taking that route for now. Read review
