I have been battling pain in my lower back for nearly four years. Although I have been dealing with pains of 5 DAILY ON a scale of 1 to 10, Monday, September 23rd was the last straw. I have never cried nor cried out to God for healing. I was done! My appt was Friday, September 27th. I prayed that Dr. Royston would be my healer. After reviewing the images from the previous MRI, she had a solution! She would inject my SI Joint with medications. As I patiently waited, I started praying for complete healing. While Dr. Royston injected my SI JOINT, I lay there thanking God for healing. The immediate relief felt like a deep sigh of relief. Dr. Royston listened to my problems, checked me out physically. She was understanding about my painful neck and sore back. My back pain was mostly at night but she concentrated on the constant neck pain first. She ordered x-rays, MRI; set up physical therapy. (The leader of my PT team said her explanation of what I needed gave him an excellent 'script' to plan for me. My neck pain is gone and back pain is less intrusive. Future injection on the spine was explained as annual and can be done later..no pressure on me now. This covers 3 visits. Read review
Ive been to Dr. Royston for tests on both arms over the last year. I can say without question that she is very good and thorough with her exam and will explain every detail of the process during her examination. I was her patience 2 yrs ago until I moved. I am willing to travel because the drs. I moved closer to were not helping me with my severe pain. I return to Dr. Royston and as soon as she entered my room she apologized to me for all the unncessary shots, medications & proceedures she read about in my medical records from the spine specialist I was referred to after a long hopsital stay. She is a VERY compassionate person/doctor!!!! The office personnel and nurses are also caring and take their time to listen to my concerns! I went to Dr Roystun for a nerve test. It only took about 10 minutes but she was pleasant and engaging. Nothing but positive feelings about Doctor Royston and the other staff members I encountered in the office. Office is bright, clean, very pleasant. BUT, I was sent there for a diagnostic test only, not to become a new patient. Still, I had pages of online paperwork to fill out, and even more to sign or initial once there. It was annoying and time-consuming, and their system will not let you skip doing it. I am totally convinced that if I had not put the effort in to do the bulk of it online, I would have been required to do it all in the office on a clipboard. Since I was there for a test due to issues with my hands, that would not have been possible for me. So...great place, but they really need to create a MUCH more streamlined version of their paperwork for people coming in for a test only. Read review
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Royston. She's kind, caring, respectful, attentive. Her knowledge and qualifications shine through. She talks to you, not at you. This was my first appointment with Dr Royston. My orthopedic physician referred me. Dr Royston performed a lower EMG test to determine if I had a pinched nerve or any nerve damage. This procedure is not easy on the patient. There are electric currents zapping you and pin pricks to your muscles. I was fortunate to have Dr Royston who did her best to get me through the test with a minimal amount of pain. It was impossible to make it pain free ... I knew that ... but Dr took it slow for my sake. I also appreciate that she specifically told me that she was sending my results to my referring physician same day. Read review

She actually listens, is empathetic and doesn't rush you out of the office just to get to the next patient. She took the time to address ALL my concerns and never once made me feel like a hypochondriac.
